CATI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) is a research method where the computer assists interviewers during telephone interviewing of respondents. The software makes the choice of respondents from the base of telephone numbers. The selection is based on the random number, in a random way. For each CATI research, the course and order of the issue are predefined in advance through a large number of filters that depend exclusively on respondents’ answers. This ensures complete control of interviewers and eliminates the possibility of omitting questions when interviewing. The main advantage of telephone surveys is the possibility of a large number of interviews in a short period of time. Provide high sample control, standardization of the questionnaire and lower costs. Using only sound information is a limitation of this method.
